I haven't read a ton of homestuck, but I destroyed the wiki to try and make a decent character for a roleplay she told me about.
EDIT: Yay, animation! Also, I realized only after I finished that I still had his name as VERGIL in the text box. Then I had to make another text box and copy and paste it on all the frames, which mind you, I've done twice now. Fuck. Anyway.

Some fun fact trivia
He was originally going to be bird of paradise themed

His last name is Mercurius spelled backwards with a few letters dropped so it's six letters

His trollhandle is hobosticizedGuru, because he actually prefers to be on the move and acts more like a hobo (the Messenger God Mercury was the god of travel and cross roads), and he likes to give people advice. Plus, mercury is denoted on the periodics table by HG

He doesn't write with a 3 just because it looks like an E. 3 is considered a mythic number, and a statuette in Belgium depicted Mercury with 3 penises, protruding from his head and nose.

His powers are based on effects of mercury poisoning, like sapping someone's strength and messing with their emotions, even his persistent salivation is an effect of mercury poisoning.
